Feeddler RSS Reader Pro App Reviews

This amazing app has problems in this release. 1) when clicking on the RSS header link to load the full webpage, most pages will get stuck in a reload loop. Im sure the developer is aware. 2) Full Text is now blazing fast. The problem is its not work 75% of the time. This is an increase over previous versions. Fantastic app, long time user on iPhone4.

Ive downloaded so many RSS feed apps and this is the one I always go back to, none of the others even compare!

The offline caching works really well, for reading while traveling.

I hate programs that push things on me I dont need. This one does just the opposite: collects news and delivers them to me fast and simple, and nothing more. This is what I call excellent! Works with LG Nexis 5 smoothly.

I tried about ten similar programs, but this is the most convenient! In other programs i dont find so many settings. It would be cool if you added background settings and scrolling "iBooks". Full text view doesnt work regardless feed, although it does work on the free version of the app.

Why the feeds are not searchable/filter ? Why cant I add my own RSS feed?

Complete, flexible, easy to use. Still my favorite after many years of rss use

Ive been using this app on my iPhone and iPad for years, but since the new version, full article views on many of my favorite sites constantly reload and return me to the top of the article. This makes it impossible to read the full article. It also does not play videos within the reader. I wrote to the developer about these issues, but havent seen any signs of improvement yet. So far my workaround has been opening the article in Safari, back to Feeddler, and repeat. What a pain!

Great app as its always been. However, it often reloads articles multiple times or refreshes which takes you back to the top of the article. This bug needs attention.

Ive tried a few feed readers, and this is by far my favorite one. Ive used Feeddler Pro since its previous version (built for previous iOSs), and paid for this update without hesitation. I like the clean new interface, and the way I can customize my feeds into folders. Its easy to see at a glance which feeds have new posts, making this app the first thing I check on my phone when I wake up (for an interesting article to coax me out of bed). My only complaints are: 1) The option to switch between RSS and website view seems to be glitching, so that I must use the "Open in Safari" option to view a full website sometimes; and 2) The Evernote integration no longer saves the entire text of the article--it still lets you add tags and select a notebook, but only saves the URL in a new note now. My workaround is to open the article I want to save in Safari, and then use the EverWeb Web Clipper app to save the article to Evernote the way I want it.

Was so bummed about losing Reader! Glad Feedler provides an easy way for me to keep up on my fave blogs & sites without having to subscribe to email updates.

I fell for the hype and tried Reeder but it is slow and harder to read visually by comparison. Have been using RSS apps for years and this is first time I tried this app. Very fast, great options, and visually my favorite. Only request would be being able to switch between night and day themes on the fly from within an article rather than from main settings page. Still, easily 5 stars and well worth $5!
